Laurel was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. She attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology. Laurel has been with MTS since 2019 as a Physical Therapy Technician but as of 2023 she has transitioned into a new position at our Youngsville location as  part of our Fitness Staff. With a desire to learn more about health and fitness, she spent the summer of 2022 in Houston, TX to complete a Strength and Conditioning internship. This gave her the opportunity to learn from experience trainers in the industry and allowed her to expand her skills by working with athletes of all ages. She is currently completing her Masters of Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Promotion and Sport Performance. She is also working towards receiving her Personal Training Certification. She is excited to start this new journey where she can fulfill her passion of helping others reach their fitness goals by encouraging them to be active and healthy!
